Job Description

Cardno is seeking a full time Corporate Recruiter in our Houston or Denver office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

> Heavy sourcing, recruiting, and coordinating in the environmental services consulting field

Coordinate the recruitment of prospective employees for assigned job requisitions

> Generate a pool of passive candidates

> Maintain recruiting files, documentation and communication with candidates

> Maintain a recruiting database using applicant tracking system

> Preparing job descriptions, announcements and advertisements

> Determines best recruitment techniques to fill open positions

> Interviews and may test prospective employees to determine appropriateness for a position

> Coordinates with hiring managers to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates

> Coordinate background checks via vendors

> Extend/negotiate offers to selected candidates

> Updating periodic recruiting reports to keep managers and recruiters informed of priority of open positions

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

> Bachelor's degree in HR or any business related field and five (5) years of experience as a Recruiter OR seven (7) years of experience as a Recruiter in lieu of a degree

> Proven track-record in recruiting, cold calling, sourcing, and internet sourcing

> This position is a point of contact for employees and recruits, so a mature, pleasant and helpful personality is essential

> Superior organizational, administrative, communication, judgment, and time management skills required

> Must be able to work across all levels of management

> Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and direction

> Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Desired Qualifications:

> Recruiting/Sourcing experience in the professional and/or environmental services field preferred

> Ability to work well with a diverse, fast-paced, team oriented work environment

> Solid follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines

> Positive and energetic attitude

> Self-motivated; strong initiative

> Detail oriented;

> Proactive, resourceful in solving problems
