Location: Tamuning, GU
Working with the Construction Services Group, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
What you will bring to the team:
Planning, managing, analyzing and understanding the scope of work for a variety of construction projects
Initiating and maintaining client relationships, coordinating and communicating scheduling, facilitating successful construction activities and overseeing crew and field / site inspections
Reviewing drawings, detailing, materials, method statements, RFIs and carrying out routine inspections of construction works
Working in the field with the Superintendent to help manage construction permits and required documentation, change orders, interacting with the client, monitoring scheduling for successful and timely execution of project deliverables
Assisting with management of project financials (costs, billings and collections, ordering materials and equipment), including negotiating, preparing and issuing sub-contracts
Managing risks and investigating potentially serious situations to circumvent problems or promptly implement corrective measures as required
Proven experience in delivering successful construction projects
Proven understanding of industry standards within construction, in particular
Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to deal with changing priorities
Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
2-5 years of professional construction experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree of study
